Here at Musubism, we are passionate about making the world a little bit smaller by sharing culture, history and tradition. Our furoshiki is one such traditional Japanese cloth that we want to share with the world—and for you to enjoy using every day.
Our company name is a mixture of Japanese and English. We combined the Japanese word musubi, which means a knot that ties or to get connected with people, with the English suffix –ism, which often signifies a belief.
Our name encapsulates our company’s worldview. If we can get connected through something as tying a knot on a furoshiki, then we can connect as humans together.
