One-Day Pop-Up at Jiyugaoka Megami Matsuri (Sunday, October 11)
Hello to everyone who supports MUSUBISM!
We have some exciting news today.
■ We're joining Jiyugaoka's biggest festival, the Megami Matsuri
MUSUBISM has been selected to take part in a business support program for women entrepreneurs run by the Meguro Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and as part of it, we'll be setting up a one-day pop-up booth at:
Date: Sunday, October 11, 2026 Location: Jiyugaoka Megami Matsuri (Jiyugaoka Hikari-gai No. 33 / No. 35 area, tentative)
Jiyugaoka Megami Matsuri is one of the biggest festivals in the Jiyugaoka area, held every year over the long weekend that includes Sports Day. For just this one day, MUSUBISM will be right there in the middle of it.
■ Why only one day?
This pop-up is happening through a support program specifically for women founders, and we've been given just one day and one booth slot during the festival. That means if you miss this date, it may be a while before we're back at an in-person event.
There's something that photos and videos online just can't fully capture: texture. Every MUSUBISM furoshiki is hand-dyed piece by piece, which is exactly why each one has its own thickness, drape, and the soft, uneven bleed of dye that only handwork can create. On this day, you'll be able to pick them up, feel that texture for yourself, and take a really close look — a chance you won't often get. Come feel it with your own hands.
■ What can you expect on the day?
We'll share more details soon — right here on the blog and on TikTok — including which pieces we'll be bringing, our booth number, and whether there will be any limited-edition extras. For now, we just wanted to get one thing on your calendar first: save the date, Sunday, October 11.
